What is The Yoga Factory?

The Yoga Factory is a welcoming space for all levels of yoga students, offering classes, workshops, and teacher trainings. Our aim is to help you build strength, flexibility, and peace of mind.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking online so that we know to expect you,

I’m new to yoga – can I join?

Absolutely! We welcome beginners and will guide you in the best classes to join, depending on your fitness, please ask a member of staff for advice.

What should I wear to a yoga class?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely – leggings, shorts, or joggers with a T-shirt or vest top work well. Bare feet are best for grip and stability.


Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

If you have one, bring it along. We also have mats available at the studio, but many people prefer to use their own.

Should I bring water?

Yes, bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We also have water available at the studio.

Do I need any special equipment?

No, we provide blocks, straps, and other props you might need in class..

Can I eat before class?

It’s best not to eat a heavy meal right before yoga. A light snack about an hour beforehand is fine.

What if I’m not flexible?

Please let your teacher know before class so they can offer modifications to keep you safe.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there is free parking around the studio, during the week it is a little busy, you can either pull up at the front of the studio or at the side of the building opposite units 2&3 (2 mins walk from The Yoga Factory). In the evenings and at the weekends you can park anywhere on the estate.

Do you have changing rooms?

We have 2 toilets where you can change for class, no shower facilities.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Classes
If you can’t make it to class, please cancel your booking so we know not to expect you. We don’t have a strict cancellation policy for regular classes – just give us a heads-up when you can.

Workshops
For workshops, we ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel, so we can offer your space to someone else.

Courses & Teacher Training
For longer commitments such as courses and teacher training, we require 3 months’ notice unless there are exceptional circumstances. This allows us to plan effectively and keep the experience valuable for everyone.
